LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Execute Pilates mat exercises with outward, inward, and neutral hip rotation to strengthen and stabilize the hips.

  • Alleviate and prevent pain in the back, knees, and feet through awareness and control of hip rotation.

  • Strengthen outward hip rotator (turn-out) muscles to safely execute ballet steps.
