Quadruped Balance and Spine Extension

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Achieve neutral spine alignment in quadruped position.

  • Maintain alignment while lifting arms and legs.

  • Move between spinal extension and neutral spine while balancing.

NOTES & MODIFICATIONS

  • Do the exercises with all 4 limbs on the floor if you are not yet able to balance on 3 limbs.

  • Return to the Cat Stretch to realign your spine periodically between balances.
